My name is M. K. and I belong to Pakistan. I was a student in Pakistan. Then taliban came in our area and they demanded tax but my father denied to pay the tax. Taliban people said to my father, it’s ok if he is not paying the tax but in place of that he will have to give his child to them so he can work with us . My father gave me to them and then I was send to Peshawar. At that time Taliban was a target in Peshawar and I was one of the men from (Tahreeke Taliban). I saw this and I called my father and I told him that I am on target here, please do something for me. He had no other way but to send me here so he sent me here directly. When I came here I filed a case two years ago and I am still here. We don’t even have a translator here for us. When I went to the doctor, even he didn’t take any action. Even here the money works.
The end.
Thank you
Odette
Hello M.K., you do find yourself in a difficult situation. In Pakistan it has been difficult and dangerous as well. Long, long time ago I have been in Peshawar myself. Things didn’t change for the better in Pakistan since then. What kind of student have you been ? What did you study?
It is sad to read you have been ‘sold’ to the Taliban. It does not sound like a choice by yourself. Did your father realise what he did ? How did you experience this time/ period ? You wrote about being a target . A target for who ?
Is it possible for you to study/ learn/ teach in Samos ?
Kind regards, Odette
