Dear reader,
My name is M., I am coming from Sudan. I am 25 years old. I arrived in Greece 3 months ago, alone. I am living in the camp of Samos but I have no tent, so I sleep outside, sometimes in the street. I have no water, I cannot drink. They give us only one bottle of water per day. It is not sufficient. They also refuse that we drink tap water. Sometimes, at night, there are snakes and rats. They do not give us food.
The conditions are difficult. I left my country because I had some problems there but I came to Greece and now my problems are even worse: I don’t have food, I don’t have enough water, I do not sleep. It would be good if the EU could try to have a look at the situation here.
If I get sick, I go to the hospital but he doctor refuses to see me. I must wait for several months before I get an appointment. If I go to the pharmacy to buy medicines, they ask my prescription but I do not have it as I have not seen the doctor. It is complicated. I ask myself how I will get out of this situation. I am getting crazy.
I would like to stay in Greece. If the situation gets better, I would like to work in farming, in agriculture. I would like that the European do something to have the situation getting better.
