Dear reader,
My name is A., I’m 20 years and I come from Mali.
I arrived in Greece 8 months ago, alone.
I live in Samas camp. There are no good living conditions, it’s suffering. We eat with rats, we sleep with rats. We sleep outdoor on the ground. I wonder how we will do it when it gets colder. Here, you do not know when you’ll be able to leave. There is no fixed date to get out of here. We do not eat, to eat is a problem. We have a ticket to queue. We wait in the morning until noon and at noon it is no longer possible to go there. We only have one bottle of water for the whole day. There are health problems.
If you are sick, you can go to the hospital but you have to wait 3 months to have an appointment. All of these are problems that make us tired. We are asking the government to take care of our case. What I also ask is that when a person arrives at the camp, he must know when he will get out.
