Ik ben 22 jaar
Ik was student aan de Universiteit van Damascus.
Ik ben hier sinds een week, en we hebben geen plaats om te slapen, ook niet genoeg eten of drinken, omdat het kamp vol is.
Ik wil hier niet blijven, omdat het kamp niet geschikt is voor mensen.
Toen ik uit Syrië vluchtte, droomde ik ervan om door te gaan met mijn studie. Maar op dit eilandje is geen toekomst. Geen veiligheid en ook geen medicijnen en niks.
De Afghanen en de Afrikanen krijgen een caravan maar de Arabische mensen krijgen niet meer dan een slaapzak.
Het enige dat ik wil is doorgaan met mijn studie die ik door Assad heb moeten stoppen.
Ik wil niet de rest van mijn leven hier in het bos blijven

It’s terrible you fled for the war and now you have to be in a place you don’t want to be.
There are to many refugees in the camps in Greece, and there are far to few volonteers to help all the people in the camps. It’s sad but true.
Nobody wants to stay there ofcourse.
I hope you can leave the camp and the island soon and make your dreams come true.
I think you are young, and you are strong. Hold on and focus on the future.

I wish you a safe, warm house in a town where you can finish your studies. We try to change the politics of Europe. It is very shameful how refugees are being treated. I wish you all the strength that is needed to cope with the hardship. Dear Y,
