In the summer of 2019 we visited Lesvos, Samos and Athens to collect your letters. Many of you have written letters, but we have not reached all of you. You can find them all on this website. They are translated and already read by many people. They are shared on social media, in churches and in classrooms. Some people have left a response to your letters on the website. Your letters still touch many people. We know that the camps have not improved since the summer of 2019, but rather worsened. That is why we will continue to share your stories with as many people as possible. You can still send us letters and put photos, videos and texts on the site.
All the letters can be found on the page ‘Letters’. If you know your letter number, type it in the 4-digit number box. You can also search by ‘location’ and ‘language’ and then scroll through the letters found. You can respond to your own letter, or any other, by describing your current situation and adding photos or videos. Please use ‘Google translate’ if you cannot write in English.
If you want your own page with your letter on the website, send it in to letters.no.border@gmail.com.
Your letters are a testimony of the violation of human rights that is taking place. It is important to tell it and to show it. We can not promise a quick change but we commit ourselves to make your voice heard as much as possible. We demand an immediate evacuation of all camps to other European countries, not to closed camps in Greece. We fight for a human European asylum policy. Therefore we need your messages!
