    Dear brother and sister M.K.,

Greetings from the Netherlands. I just read your letter, and I’m feeling so terribly sorry for the harsh conditions in which you and your children have to survive, without any perspective for change or improvement.
During summertime, in our country, people enjoy living in a tent for a few weeks, on a nice and comfortable campsite, just for fun. However, when I try to imagine having to live in a tent throughout the year, year after year, like you do, in such miserable circumstances, my heart and stomach become weak.
Therefore, I’m crying out to God: give these people hope and give them back their dignity!
I’m feeling ashamed to be a citizen of the EU, who refuse to find a solution for the migration crisis of which you are suffering. Please keep the hope alive that one day things will change for the better. I will continue to pray for you!

    Best regards,
    Johan
